Amanitas

Valerie just posted an Amanita and I also have been looking forward to finding some.  We've had an unusually good mushroom years this year …. and I finally found some when we went to the coast.  These were found just a few miles inland from the Oregon Coast.

I quickly sketched this four-some and the single mushroom along side the road, but I did the ink and paint at home.

    Both these sketches are gorgeous. I spotted a big one like these out here in town, it's some odd 30 centimeter... beautiful. Just didn't have my canera with me..
