autumn in Texas

I found a colorful autumn in this part of Texas after all. Though most of the trees are still fully green and there are flowers blooming everywhere, we found several trees and shrubs going through seasonal color changes.

These leaves were found in NW Houston and in Brenham, while taking walks and looking at houses for sale. Most deciduous trees are holding their green, along with the thousands of tall pines in our daughter's neighborhood. Roses and other flowers are blooming everywhere.

  1. Vicki - these fall leaves are so vibrant - sadly our color has pretty much disappeared. Hope you have a lovely day.

  2. Thanks, Debbie! Finding autumn color amongst all the green has been a fun distraction from our house-hunting.

    1. Thanks, Elva! These pages just sort of evolved over a couple of days. I've been too busy house-hunting to find sketching time, but picked up a leaf or two at some of the houses we viewed.
