Visit to Vermont

A few weeks ago, I went on a small trip to Vermont for the weekend. I only managed to make one sketch though, as I was busy taking care of my baby the whole time. I did this sketch overlooking the lake while sitting on the balcony high above the ground.

I did manage to take some photos though, including some closeups of a family of ducks. I was amazed that they let me get so close to them. Even though I did not get a chance to do the sketching I would have liked, I left feeling very inspired by the landscape.

Vermont Sketching-Carolyn Ann Pappas

A few weeks ago I was in Vermont visiting with family and I made these sketches of Lake Eden. I was meaning to post them here when I got back but I got preoccupied with other things. I LOVED being up in Vermont. It was a wonderful time and a different landscape from what I usually see in Massachusetts.

Here is a photo of me making the sketches. I was concentrating because it was going to start to rain and I was a bit squinty eyed!
