Thank you Cynthia! Yes Kate, it's a very small shorebird (wingspan only 28-31 cm), breeds on tundra (Arctic Europe and Asia) and wintering in south Africa and Asia, I observed this in Enza river during migration period.
Love the capture of movement in this drawing. Shorebirds are so much fun.
Very delicate..... as little shorebirds should be.
