Twenty Minute Challenge - Lilacs - Teri Casper

Twenty Minute Challenge - Lilacs

I have had no time to do any art but I knew I could something in 20 minutes and the lilacs were just waiting to be painted.
It isn't exactly what I had in mind but I love the way the colors ran, then I added some spatter.
I'm so happy I took the 20 minutes to do this, now I feel better.

I added the haiku when I was done:
Hmmm, smell the lilacs
I just need 20 minutes
To paint their essence

  1. Teri; I love the way this came out. My lilacs have just bloomed also. Going to have to go paint them. I just love this picture. WOW

  2. This is positively beautiful! I love it! My lilacs failed to blossom this year. So this is a happy replacement!

  3. These are FABULOUS, TEri! I Like the poem as well!! We don't have as many lilacs here -- but the ones my mom grew in New York were so fragrant! Enjoy yours!

  4. I agree with Dorothy - positively beautiful! Love the spatter, it's something I yet have to try - gorgeous Haiku.
