I painted this from a photo I took last spring when this cactus was blooming. Their flowers are so delicate and unfortunately only last for one day, but what a joy to see them.
Beautiful One-night-bloom Teri! I always revel in their masses, but unfortunately the tall variety is regarded as an unwanted alien here in South Africa and people are encouraged to destroy them.
