Purple Prickly Pear Cactus - Teri Casper



My neighbor has a big clump of purple prickly pear cactus growing among ground ivy and stones.

So I sketched it and tried to design a nice looking page. 

The spines on this cacti are very long and deadly-looking.
Most prickly pear cactus are green but this variant is so pretty in purple with just a hint of green.

    Oh, what a lovely sketch Teri! One of my Peacocks hid in a Prickly Pear bush once and it took some children 3 days to get him out!
