IKEBANA IN ROME

I was invited to draw during an ikebana lesson, this is one of my drawings.

Solanum Mammosum - Nipplefruit (yellow) - a plant from China and Japan
Diplocyclos palmatus - Striped cucumber (green) - from Africa and Asia

  1. Lovely drawings! They look like they are itching to be put into a flower arrangement -- which is what ikebana is all about (I had to look up ikebana: the art of Japanese flower arranging).
