Bald Eagle Nest

If you look carefully you'll see a bald eagle nest with two adult eagles.

These two surprised me.  I spotted a white head up in a big Sitka Spruce and thought I saw a nest.  Dale turned the car around for another look.  Sure enough.  Soon a second eagle flew in and both looked very nesty.  Before long one flew off and returned carrying a stick...... on Oct 15!

When I got home I read up on bald eagles:  some work on their nest during any month of the year.
