This poor Rose-breasted Grosbeak hit our front window the other day and sat on the ground for two hours while it recuperated. It didn't look like it was injured in anyway but probably had a bad head injury.
While it was sitting there I had a good chance to sketch it from the window.
Then he flew away.
Thank goodness.
