Kate, I love your splotches! Mine always look too contrived and since I save them till last, they often ruin the painting. I guess it just takes a lot of self confidence. I'm not sure I quite understand the bird. He sort of looks like he's ascending to the heavens.
Thanks, Paula! And yep, since that strong sun hit RIGHT where the bird is, it kinda washes out the fence he's sitting on. I need to scan it and post that way too!
