Milkweed Bloom - Teri Casper


I stood out on the path to the lake and sketched this milkweed bloom and painted it with gouache (which is like opaque watercolor) and it works perfectly on this tan paper. I love the tan paper and once I discovered I could paint no it with gouache I am using it more and more.

This one is my Twenty Minute Challenge.

    Teri, it's lovely! Can't believe you just took 20 minutes...we're seeing these flowers here in the Midwest right now, too...
