Plein Aire Desert Sketching - Teri Casper

My husband went golfing and I went sketching in a nearby park.
The top painting is how barrel cactus get hidden among the bushes and other plants.
The lower one is a more formal planting of Saguaro and an Ocotillo tree with  random agaves.
One thing about painting on a hot day in the desert is how rapidly the paint dries!  But always a joy to be painting out there.

  1. What a nice way to spend a warm (or hot!) day!!! Way more preferable (to me!) than golfing!
