This is from another Maui photo at the same park as the Angel Trumpet Blooms.
Koi are so beautifully colored that I wanted to try it.
The first one I did with all watercolor and goofed it up so I tried it again, only this time I 'painted' the Koi with colored pencils and washed in watercolor over that. Worked great.
Those colours are gorgeous. Such wonderful contrasts.
