Black Swallowtail

Here is my first post for the new blog! Thanks so much for inviting me... I am looking forward to participating.

This black swallowtail was found around the blooms on my lilac bush during one of the really warm spells in February or March. He was a little ragged around the edges and the 'tails' had broken but he was still a stunning guy.

  2. Sorry about that! This is ink and watercolor in a Moleskine. And I am in North Central Texas near Wichita Falls... I am working on my introduction and hope to post that this afternoon.
