Here is my first post for the new blog! Thanks so much for inviting me... I am looking forward to participating.
This black swallowtail was found around the blooms on my lilac bush during one of the really warm spells in February or March. He was a little ragged around the edges and the 'tails' had broken but he was still a stunning guy.
Laura, what medium are you using? He's spectacular! And please tell us where you live...
ReplyDeleteSorry about that! This is ink and watercolor in a Moleskine. And I am in North Central Texas near Wichita Falls... I am working on my introduction and hope to post that this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteSounds great, thanks Laura! I added your name to the post tags, so people can find your posts in the future.
ReplyDeleteToo bad about his tails; your painting of him is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLaura, I'm so glad you agreed to do this .. I can't wait for everyone to see your talent .. you need to share your Grand Canyon Journal too!
ReplyDeleteWe would LOVE to see the Grand Canyon journal, Laura. Please, do share!
