A shadow box from the ground

Hello everybody, glad to be back here...
On my latest lesson I took my students out, and we picked off the ground whatever caught our eye on a winter day. Wild boars had dug out some roots, which made it easier.
Then we went back and planned a composition around the specimens, to create a little "wunderkammer". It makes it more rational and is fun.
This is mine (not particularly detailed)

  1. What a wonderful idea Concetta! And your sketch is beautiful...

    1. thank you Kate...I didn't know it was anything original!

  2. Sweet !, that is a great idea, love the word "wunderkammer" it is a good as Clyde Asepevig's "Land Snorkling".

We'd love to hear from you, your questions, comments, observations! Please feel free to comment, feedback is important to us.
