We were over at the coast (Oregon coast) a little less than a week ago. The wind was quiet, but there had been a storm out at sea somewhere. Huge breakers were rolling in. I probably should have painted the gull even smaller. It looked so tiny out there.
I love a windless winter day on the coast. All too often I'd get way too chilled to stay out long enough to paint something like this.
Beautiful Elva, I love watching the seabirds on the beach. Happy New year to you, looking forward to following you in your nature travels!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you too. May you paint many wonderful things in the coming year!
