AN ABUNDANCE OF ACORNS

 
We have noticed on our walks this year how many more acorns there seem be than in previous years.  Is it caused by the changes in the weather and have the late wet spring and long hot summer really benefitted the trees?

    I really miss picking up acorns since we moved from our last smallholding, haven't got an Oak tree now... Beautiful sketch Valerie!
