Cotton plant

Yesterday I bought two branches of the cotton plant.
This is the drawing.

Angela Maria Russo - "Cotone - Gossypium" watercolour on Magnani sketchbook

  1. That's lovely, Angela--someone near me grows cotton every year, I should ask them if I could pick one to look at as closely as you did. We learn so much more when we draw something, don't we?

    1. Yes Kate, what you say is true. When you draw something you must look with attention the subjects and so you learn their characteristic and you don't forget anymore

  2. Just lovely, Angela! Glad you got to experience the architecture of this amazing plant!
