This is just beautiful, Pam...the fresh watercolor and the text make such a wonderful combination. And it's been very pleasant here too!
Thanks Kate! I was standing on the practice range behind Rob while he hit balls. One of the attendants came over to see what I was doing. He saw the beginning wash of light green. Said he'd be back..... I was hoping it would turn out :)
My goodness...I feel as though I'm sitting right there enjoying this beautiful scenery!
Thank you, Annie! You would have enjoyed the day :)
Pam, this is an outstanding watercolor, so much depth. BJ
Thank you, Barbra! Lights and darks are a painters friend :)
What a rich array of verdant greens!
Thanks, Jeff. I was using all kinds of combos. Quin gold and royal blue, royal blue and aureolin, hookers and quin gold, a splash of raw sienna in places and adding aliz. crimson to create the darks and touch of opera in the royal blue for some purple tones.
Beautifully done, love your greens and they can be such a bear to paint! Lovely
Thanks, Desiree! I'm a big fan of mixing greens :)
Lovely rolling greens with palm punctuations!!! marvelous indeed.
Thanks, jmbhatt! Love "palm punctuations" :)
Ditto to above comments. Applause, applause! That glimpse of blue water is thrilling. I love this part of the country.
Thanks, Marcia! Had to stand to see that piece of lagoon. So glad my efforts paid off :)
