Oh, la, la. Perfect weather for plein air work. Had to wonder if I was really in the lowcountry of South Carolina enjoying this August day with no humidity!?!
Thanks Kate! I was standing on the practice range behind Rob while he hit balls. One of the attendants came over to see what I was doing. He saw the beginning wash of light green. Said he'd be back..... I was hoping it would turn out :)
Thanks, Jeff. I was using all kinds of combos. Quin gold and royal blue, royal blue and aureolin, hookers and quin gold, a splash of raw sienna in places and adding aliz. crimson to create the darks and touch of opera in the royal blue for some purple tones.
This is just beautiful, Pam...the fresh watercolor and the text make such a wonderful combination. And it's been very pleasant here too!
