A Summer Day in South Carolina

Oh, la, la. Perfect weather for plein air work. Had to wonder if I was really in the lowcountry of South Carolina enjoying this August day with no humidity!?!

  1. This is just beautiful, Pam...the fresh watercolor and the text make such a wonderful combination. And it's been very pleasant here too!

    1. Thanks Kate! I was standing on the practice range behind Rob while he hit balls. One of the attendants came over to see what I was doing. He saw the beginning wash of light green. Said he'd be back..... I was hoping it would turn out :)

    1. Thanks, Jeff. I was using all kinds of combos. Quin gold and royal blue, royal blue and aureolin, hookers and quin gold, a splash of raw sienna in places and adding aliz. crimson to create the darks and touch of opera in the royal blue for some purple tones.
