History and nature

Drawing "en plein air" with 8 people really motivatedThanks to all!I have sketched a window conquered by vegetation, it is a part of the ruins of the "Casino dei Boschi" a villa with a Landscaped park, built in 1800 by Borbone and used after by Maria Luigia of Austria, wife of Napoleon, the site is now a fascinating Natural Park mix of history and nature, in Parma province. I paint with watercolours Capreolus capreolus, symbol of the Park, and I use this drawing for the announcement.

  5. My favorite is the leaf--I like how you faded the yellow-green into the dry brown, and made the brown edge at the bottom look brittle. I am studying this painting

  8. Lovely work Maria Elena! You have such a delicate touch but a strong sense of composition. I particularly like the pose of the deer.
