Mystery Flowers

Too lovely not to draw. This bed of flowers was huge and bright and delightful. There were several stakes holding these tall blossoms up but I chose not to include them, many were at least three feet tall. What a dramatic bouquet they would make!

    They're beautiful. My 1st thought was lupine, too, but they are not usually so colorful in the wild.

    Perhaps Penstemons (they come in many colors) or lupine.

    I agree with Judy. These flowers are Delphiniums Pacific. I have some in my own garden and I sketched them too. Please have a look at my blog.
