Though it's finally been raining for the last two days, this sunset was captured when C and I took our nightly walk to the top of our road last weekend. The days are shortening and so if we are going to 'catch' the sun as it dips behind the farm across from us, we have to leave our house earlier and earlier. We managed to get to this part of our walk (we try to get in at least a mile) just as the sun was lowering .....
It promises to be a far less hectic week than last and I can finally get to those tasks that have been on my list for a while ....
We have a day of sun with rain coming in tomorrow for the rest of the week.

What beautiful light through those amazing pine branches! Love the textures of the branches and the trees in the forground contrasting with the soft washes. Serene and dynamic at the same time!
