A real treat today. Rob and I went to Fish Haul Creek Park on HHI, SC. It was a rainy morning but as we made our way there, the sky started to brighten. We sought shelter at the park's gazebo. To our surprise, a huge flock of pelicans was covering a sandbar in Port Royal Sound. We'd never seen that many brown pelicans grounded before.

Ah, I would have loved to see all those Pelicans together PJ! A lovely experience you had, I'm sure!
ReplyDeleteI love to see the pelicans! Looks just perfect, Pam, and your lettered border really sets off the image.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Maree - it truly was lovely :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kate! I giggle when I look at my lettering - one day I may just be able to write a straight line :)
I'll bet you do before I do, Pam! Liz Steel uses journals with thin enough pages she can see a grid behind them, but--can't do that with 140 lb. WC paper!
ReplyDeleteYour scenes are wonderful! Besides the pelicans, there's that wonderful hanging, long dark cloud so often seen this time of year.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Vickie!
ReplyDeleteHmmmm, the mother of invention may arise to the straight line challenge w/o using a ruler :)
