Check out Paulownia. The pod, giant heart shaped leaf, lavender flowers and the fact that it's already blooming suggest it to me. It's a tree with a cult following! I'd been admiring one in my neighborhood for years and finally found someone who knew what it was.
Isn't it Haleria lucida? The Tree Fuscia? Whatever it is, lovely sketch!
