The Stinker & the Lady

I finally got a couple more bugs... a Lady Beetle and a Southern Green Stink Bug. Those little green bugs were well named. He is most definitely a stinker! Ink & watercolor. I am also working on some grass sketches that I hope to post early next week.

  1. Wonderful page, Laura! (Would it be possible to make the art so it opens a bit larger? I couldn't quite read the notes...)

  2. Sorry about that Kate! I have reposted the sketch and I think that is better... bigger anyway! Thanks for the tip. (I will get this blogging business figured out one of these days.) :-)

  3. Yes, lovely, thank you! What I normally do is go to the image in my Flickr, hit "all sizes" at the top, then paste in the code for the size I want. (Needs to be under 500 wide.) I don't know what you did this time, but I love being able to see the detail!

  4. It feels like the bugs are walking on the page. Great sketch.

  5. Oh those cute stinkbugs! (I know, they are considered a pest.) I don't know if we get the same ones here in the southern part of Canada, but sometimes the stinkbugs have different coloured feet and it looks like they have little boots on!
