We missed getting out to the water this weekend, so I had to substitute a couple of reference photos to bring me to those quiet, serene waters ...

The JCC Earthfest is today, so we'll be sharing information about square foot and container gardens. We inspired several 'new growers' into trying lettuce and tomatoes in large pots .. so we hope to 'convert' a few others about the joy and ease of this type of gardening. More information, if you're interested, can be found here: www.johnstoncc.edu/arboretum.

Hope YOU have fun planting!!

  1. Super job Lin. I am trying those tomatoes in a container for the first time. They say the tomatoes help patients in my situation. Great job friend. God bless.

  2. That water looks soooo inviting; your colors are wonderful! I have some container garden plants going too: tomato, bell pepper, and kale. I haven't gardened in a long time so we'll see how it goes!

  3. Beautiful painting. Nice water!
Funny, I always put a tomato in a container for the patio as well as some in the garden. Sometimes it's nice to just reach out the door for a cherry tomato.
    Lazzzzzzzy!
