Here are the first two pages of an 8 page mini journal dedicated to the Low Country's November Fall Colors.
We don't see the over all color noted in the North East or the Appalachian Mountains but, the Low Country doesn't lack for wonderful patches of striking pigments. To me, Sweet Gum trees are the most colorful. Sumac's are a deep crimson, Swamp Maples - a combo of yellows and reds, and then there's the Ash that takes your breath away with it's brilliant yellow orange leaves when surrounded by greens of pines and live and water oaks.
Lovely colors! I wish we had those here in Florida...The way you incorporated your elegant script into the bald cypress outline is magical.
