Cypress at Freedom Park - Elizabeth Smith

Some of you know that I've had big changes in my life, so there hasn't been much time to draw. Thankfully, I can squeeze in some odd minutes here and there - and watercolor pencil is the perfect medium for this!

This is a small swampy area in one of our new parks. I love the way the duckweed carpets the water like apple-green velvet.  A serene spot.
