I love the challenge of skeching animals from life ... and since my husband and I volunteer at a large drive-through animal park, I get lots of opportunities to sketch some pretty exotic species.
Here I have an eland, a zebra, and a wild turkey. Of course the wild turkey is native. They particularily like whatever it is that the rhinos get fed!
All were done with a Pelikan fountain pen and a water brush.
You are so lucky to 'work' there with all these wonderful subjects to practice on.
ReplyDeleteElva, what a wonderful opportunity! Good for you, you make good use of it and share it with all of us.
ReplyDeleteDo you sell these sketches? I am looking for some simple safari animal sketches for my nursery!
