ReplyDeleteOh, Rene, how I wish I could read Portuguese better! I believe I'm reading that you are glad to be here, and I'm delighted as well. I think you've said you are sorry you don't write in English, though you understand some of it. That's about my level of undertanding of Portuguese, so we'll be fine. Your art speaks for itself. I'm glad you've joined us, and welcome aboard!
ReplyDeleteWelcome Rene, nice to meet you!
ReplyDeleteHello, Kate and Rene. I can translate the posts from portuguese to english if you want me to. Just ask. I'll be glad to help!
ReplyDelete:)
That would be WONDERFUL, Fabiana!
ReplyDeleteOk! Let me begin with this post then. :) It's good that I practice a little bit too. :) If I made any grammar mistakes I beg your pardon in advance.
ReplyDelete"My first contribution! Renê Tomczak
Hello! My name is Renê Silvio Tomczak, and I sign my works as RSTomczak. I'm a painter and illustrator, more known by my oil paintings which I do at the outskirts of Curitiba, the city where I live, capital of Paraná state, south of Brazil. I'm glad for the invitation to participate in here!
In the moment I'm working more with my drawings and watercolors, one of my latest discoveries with which I'm learning a lot!
This picture that I posted here is one of the most recent oil works of mine, the subject is pine trees ('araucárias', in portuguese), which is the symbol of Paraná state, and a mountain called "Morro do Anhangava" well known in this region.
I'm also at Flickr. Hope you enjoy my work.
I'm very sorry for not writing in english, but I understand a bit of the language. "
Well, but now you can count on me for translations, just let me know. :)
Kate, you can edit and delete this comment if you want.
I'll translate the next ones now.
Kisses and hugs!
Fabiana
PS: by the way, love your paintings, Renê!
A propósito, adorei suas pinturas, Renê! :)
