When I arrived in Lanzarote this Kestrel was waiting me near the door of elena's house.
He was told me welcome in that beautifull place...i hope to go back there, soon!

Celebration of rural culture

I participated in the celebration of rural culture and traditions of the forest, which was held in my little town Oriolo Romano VT. I draw with children hoopoe and bee-eaters. A wonderful day of singing, dancing, traditional food ... And sketching!

Kentisch plover

I made some sketches asked me for a scientific publication about kentish plover, that nests on the beach near Rome. They are implementing a project to protect this cute little bird, in Torre Flavia riserve, which nests on the beach. Without any shelter, including twigs and plastic bottles. His fear is the horrible sand harvesters, tractors that sweep away everything that they find in their breeding season.

Lanzarote trip

I've been in lanzarote with my family. Here some sketch that I did while my boys play on the beach! Lanzarote it's a wonderfull place. I will work at some paintings...as soon is possibile I'll post!

Looking for flamingos

Tuesday morning was a beautiful sunny day. At the entrance to school I caught my friend Paula and I said "do you come with me?... I'm going looking for flamingos." She accepted immediately, with the same grin that I had that morning. We arrived on Feniglia beach ( near orbetello) and we went in a bush. We lost. It's nice to get lost. Especially if he is the trail of wild boar, which brings you to your destination. After a few steps from the spot. A few yards on the bush, and a few elbows in the back ... here they are! A few meters away. And there were not only the flamingos ...

Genova's acquarium
