Springtime in western Oregon (USA) is beautiful. The fields turned green at the beginning of our wet winter, but now some are a blaze of yellow mustard flowers. Snow still clings to distant mountain peaks. I couldn't resist painting this while traveling north on Interstate 5. It is hard to paint while Dale drives, but sometimes I can't resist. I have my water tied to the door handle, my little pan of paint in my left hand, and the sketchbook on my lap ........
Wonderful, Elva...mustard is blooming here too!
