Quercus michauxii, Swamp Chestnut Oak

This year the Swamp Chestnut Oak beside our driveway released a hundreds of acrons. The acorns are 1⁄2 - 1 1⁄4 inches (13 - 32 mm) and one needs to be careful not to get one underfoot!
